An East End Hospice Volunteer is a specially trained person to care, share, listen and understand. East End Hospice Volunteers also give welcome assistance in office and special event activities.

 

Volunteer Training Starts in the Fall

Our Patient/Family Volunteer Training Program will begin in the fall.

Please call Volunteer Coordinator Susan DiSario – 631-288-8400 if you would like to participate.

So Much That Matters

  • Bring the outside world to someone who is homebound.
  • Visit in the home or hospital.
  • Provide companionship.
  • Provide respite for care givers.
  • Help celebrate special occasions.
  • Prepare light meals.
  • Provide transportation.
  • Share times of joy or sadness.
  • Offer much-needed office help during weekday hours.
  • Participate in seasonal fund-raising events.
