A Few Hours Can Mean Everything.
Sometimes the greatest gift you can give someone is your time.
A conversation. A listening ear. A hand to hold. A few hours of companionship that give a patient comfort—or give a family caregiver the chance to take a breath. That’s the difference an East End Hospice volunteer can make.
FREE Volunteer Training Starts in October.
Training will be offered via Zoom. Pre-registration and an interview are required.
If you have a few hours to give, you may be able to make those hours incredibly meaningful for someone else.
No healthcare experience is necessary. Our volunteers share a willingness to be present and a desire to make a difference. And something remarkable often happens along the way: volunteers discover that while they came to give, they receive so much in return.
