Blog Spring Salon Luncheon Raises $180,000 for Camp Good Grief

More than 150 women philanthropists gathered at the prestigious Harmonie Club in New York City for East End Hospice’s 24th Annual Spring Salon to benefit Camp Good Grief. Event supporters helped raise more than $180,000 in support of Camp Good Grief.

The program featured a conversation with EEH President & CEO Mary Crosby and Dr. Jennifer Ashton, ABC News chief health and medical correspondent, who bravely recounted her grief journey following her ex-husband’s suicide, and shared insights from her book “Life After Suicide: Finding Courage, Comfort & Community After Unthinkable Loss.”

Event Co-Chairs, Linda Jacobs and Lesley Leben presented the 2024 Good Heart Award to Jacalyn Weinstein who movingly expressed her dedication to Camp Good Grief, underscoring the profound impact of nurturing and aiding children and young adults during their most vulnerable moments.

Heartfelt thanks to all who made the day a fabulous success!
