Blog Connecting at Camp Good Grief 2024

152 campers, ages 4 to 17 from across Long Island and the Tri-State area, connected at East End Hospice’s Camp Good Grief for therapeutic programming, traditional camp fun, and bonding.

Campers shared their experiences of loss involving parents, siblings, and relatives. They learned to process and articulate their emotions, and connected with peers with similar experiences.

Camp Good Grief is made possible thanks to the dedication of over 115 volunteers, staff members, generous donors, and local businesses. Camp is offered at no cost to participating families.

Special thanks to Supplies for Success, Smithtown Senior Center, Bring Sunshine, Port Jeff Ferry-McAllister Towing, those who contributed through the Amazon Supply Wish List, our Camper Sponsors, and all who donate to camp throughout the year.
