Blog Camp Good Grief 2025

Healing Together at Camp Good Grief.

This July, 175 children (ages 4–17) from Suffolk, Nassau, and across the Tri-State area came together for a powerful, healing week at East End Hospice’s Camp Good Grief — where therapy meets friendship, and loss meets hope.

Campers shared their stories of losing parents, siblings, and loved ones. Through art, music, play, and peer therapy, they found new ways to express grief and discovered they are not alone.

The unwavering support of our community makes Camp available at no cost to all who attend. Over 125 volunteers and staff members, along with countless generous supporters, came together to ensure that children facing loss had a safe, nurturing space to heal.
