Blog A Lasting Symbol of Compassion Now Welcomes Visitors to East End Hospice Administrative Offices

East End Hospice is proud to share a beautiful new addition to its Main Office—a hand-painted mural of the organization’s logo, created by youth volunteer Elyssa Peters.

The mural now serves as a lasting symbol of compassion, hope, and community for all who enter the building. Elyssa, daughter of Maintenance Coordinator John Peters, dedicated more than 50 hours to thoughtfully designing and painting the artwork. Her creativity and commitment have resulted in a meaningful piece that reflects the heart of East End Hospice’s mission.

This project stands as a powerful reminder of the impact young volunteers can make and the many ways community members contribute to the hospice’s work beyond direct care and services.

East End Hospice extends its sincere gratitude to Elyssa for her generosity, talent, and dedication in creating a piece that will be cherished for years to come.
